Set-up time: Two hours prior to each event.
Battle Ground Village is sponsoring a quality outdoor market for the summer of 2010 - rain or shine! This is our first year hosting this event, and we look forward to making this an annual tradition. We are requesting that all products for sale be good quality and handmade by the vendor.
- All vendors must be open for the entire duration of the event and artists must have sufficient stock.
- All vendors are responsible for their own sales. Please be sure to bring an adequate amount of change for your booth.
- Vendors are also responsible for charging and claiming state sales tax. All sales tax collected in conjunction with this event is to be reported to the State of Washington under Sales Tax Code #1714. For more information, or temporary permit, contact the Department of Revenue at 1-800-647-7706. They will issue you a number over the phone. You may also visit http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/file.html for online registration.
- Battle Ground Village will provide advertisement and promotions for the event.
- Battle Ground Village is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any article belonging to space renters or their workers.
- Any items or merchandise left after the event closes will be disposed of at the discretion of Battle Ground Village. Please leave your area as clean as you found it and take out your own trash.
- All vendors must provide their own fire-rated (proof) canopies tables, chairs, and trashcans, etc.
- Vendors are responsible for obtaining and providing Battle Ground Village with a copy of any required business license. Vendors are also expected to follow all applicable health department regulations.
- Battle Ground Village is charging a variable vendor fee dependent on the number of markets attended, which shall be utilized to advertise the event.
- A deposit, equal to 50% of registered days, is due at the time of registration. The remaining balance will be due no later than the first day of the market, May 8, 2010.
- If your items are deemed inappropriate by Battle Ground Village, you will be refunded in full.
Full Time Vendor: 18-20 market days, not including special events.
- Fee is $10 per market day
- Confirmed spot (except for special events)
- 50% of minimum market days due as a deposit with registration, no later than April 1, 2010
- 18 market days x $10 per day x 50% = $90 deposit
- 50% discount on fee* for BGV Holiday Bazaar (Oct 30-Dec 18)
- 50% discount on fees* for special events not occurring on a regular Saturday market day
- Harvest Day Marathon Sunday, July 18
- Other designated Harvest Days July 16-18
- Sunday in the Park BBQ Cruise in August
- Summer Movie Nights in the Village Park (food vendors)
- Others to be announced
* Booths/areas with electricity are available for full time vendors on a first come first serve basis.
Part time Vendor: 10-17 market days, not including special events.
- Fee is $15 per market day
- Confirmed spot (except for special events)
- 50% of minimum market days due as a deposit with registration, no later than April 1, 2010
- 10 market days x $15 per day x 50% = $75 deposit
- 25% discount on fee* for BGV Holiday Bazaar (Oct 30-Dec 18)
- 25% discount on fees* for special events not occurring on a regular Saturday market day
- Harvest Day Marathon Sunday, July 18
- Other designated Harvest Days July 16-18
- Sunday in the Park BBQ Cruise in August
- Summer Movie Nights in the Village Park (food vendors)
- Others to be announced
Casual Vendor: 4-9 market days, not including special events.
- Fee is $25 per market day
- Spot will be confirmed the day of the market.
- 50% of minimum market days due as a deposit with registration, no later than April 1, 2010
- 4 market days x $25 per day x 50% = $50 deposit
- No discounts, but may participate in special events at the regular rate*

*Fees for future special events and the BGV Holiday Bazaar are yet to be determined. Discounts are available for reserving multiple booths. All fees collected will be used for advertising and promoting the Village Outdoor Market.
